Handle the estate's assets
To settle an estate, the executor or administrator must pay all outstanding debt and then distribute any remaining assets to beneficiaries and heirs of the deceased.
Before debt payments are made, gather all liquid assets, and other credits owed to the deceased, and deposit their cash value into the estate bank account.
All of the estate's financial obligations will be managed from the estate bank account.
